Diane Meysenberg passed away on February 15, 2000.  Born June 6, 1931, in Hawaii,  she is remembered for the passion and intellectual curiosity she brought to her classroom.  I was privileged to spend time with Diane and her husband Maurice, as they worked to remodel and refurbish a vacation cottage in Idyllwild, CA in the early 70's.

Devoted to each other, they pitched in to tear down walls and remove rubble while carrying on discussions at great length about the ballet, great books and, of course, U.S. History.
