Saw this information on Claudia's FaceBook Page. Numerous posts were made in her memory. Wish I had more information share about Claudia's passing. Apparently she died from mesothelioma.  Her son Christian (aka Gus), her sister Gigi and Nick were with her, 

I knew Claudia as my classmate in a number of classes. She sat next to me in Miss Beebe's American Lit class when we were juniors. While we didn't interact much outside of class, she was always very nice to me, and I appreciated her for that. Was glad to accidentally reconnect with her on FaceBook last year. I'm very saddened to learn of her passing.
