J.D., if you're in Huntsville on the 20th, plan on joining us at Rosie's on South Parkway- If it's anything like last night, it will be a great time w/ one another once again.

John, My Husband (Joel Ellis) & I will be at Rosie's on the 20th.  I am so excited I wasn't able to make the reunion so I am REALLY looking forward to seeing the group at Rosie's!

Carol Roberts (Freeman)

Happy New Year everyone!  I wish I could have been there, did anyone get pictures?

I had a wondeful visit with my family in HSV this past weekend but everyone caught  a cold or the flusad.  I was coming down with it Monday morning and didn't want to share it with all of you... we need to be careful at our age!  Like Jim said "Who are all of these old people"...I have laughed and laughed about that skit, whenever I am having a bad day or difficult passenger, that memory always brings a smile to my facesmiley.  Thank you for the wonderful memories, looking forward to making more in 2015!    I have the Jan. 20th off and hope to be there at Rosie's.

Cheers, Carol Roberts Freeman

Alice, Jim, and Carol......I have you down, Carol, I wasn't sure if you were a definite or not, so I didn't have you on my master list, but if I need to add it, I will.

Ruth Garcia (Osborne-Hess)

Thanks for getting us together again!  I couldn't make the gathering last week but appreciate the efforts of the planners and gatherers (is that like hunters and gatherers? hahaha)  It would be so great to keep adding to your current list of folks...we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief that the holidays are over and make toasts to 2015 together! See y'all on the 20th!

J. D. Webster

Best wishes to my classmates who will be gathering on the 20th.  I will not be able to make it as I am vacationing in Chile South America through the 24th. However, if anyone is astute enought to bring a tablet or Ipad of some sort that can skype, I will be happy to try and coordinate my timing to skype in to the event.

Any takers on this techno-challenge?

:-)

Cheers, all!

JD

Mr. Catfish:

I dive, but it's generally restricted to Lake Travis, the rigs off Port Aransas, and Cozumel.

Anytime you want to try diving in Texas, please let me know!

I too dive Catfish though like J.D. I am out of practice. I have been blessed to dive some great spots such as the Great Barrier Reef,  Bonaire and several other killer places. In Bonaire you can walk right off the beach and see Sea Horses which is too cool to see under water.

Ok, a final reminder.....BTW, it is not too late to get in touch w/ me (cell, email in previous post) if you want to be included in our get together Tuesday night at Rosie's, South Parkway (6:00)- If you do contact me, you are included in the head count, but even if you don't, show up and join us in a night of fun, reminiscing, and great food- Contacting me is NOT a requirement, it only helps w/ the head count that I had to have.

We are currently at about 21, numbers wise, and we need at least 20 for the room they have reserved- A couple of folks have had things come up, and might not be able to make it, but we should be good, as far as being over the 20 person cutoff- I called to confirm everything this morning, so we are on go, no turning back- I'm sure there are a few that haven't let me know anything yet that will be coming, so once again.....PLEASE don't think that just because you haven't gotten in on the head count you are excluded, the door is wide open for anybody that wants to come be a part- We just want to use this as an opportunity to plan regularly scheduled get togethers, and continue what was established as a result of this past summer's 40th anniversary celebration.

Hope to see as many of you as possible there on Tuesday- I think this is how we currently stand, as of today- Please let me know of any changes that need to be made- Have a great weekend, see you Tuesday evening.

John Cochran (1), Charles Campbell (1), Alisha Owens Davis (2), Rick/ Kay Shrout, Debbie Bradshaw Baker (1), Jim Hess (1), Ruth Garcia (1), David "Catfish" Campbell (1), Connie Tucker (1), Mary Beth Given (1), Alice Bourque Ellis (2), James Pointer (1), Steve Canerossi (2), George Hamilton (2), Tony Campbell (2)- There are a couple of folks, Jill Bennett Hall, and Jim Record, that have had situations come up in which they may not be able to attend, or might be late in joining us, but I want them to know that if there is anyway that they can come, we'd love for you to be there, even if it's a little later than 6:00.....Thanks again. folks, have a great weekend, and may God Bless.

Hey Johnny,

Did you (can you?) determine if "Rosie's" has Wi-Fi inside and if so, can someone take a tablet or Ipad so I can try to contact by Skype. My hope is to skype with my classmates at that time. I will be in the south of Chile on the 20th, 3 hours ahead of Huntsville Time, so 530pm for you guys will be 830pm for me.

Thanks,

J.D.

Rusty...

Been to Cozumel though haven't dived there... Lake Travis looks like a great place to dive... local diving here is mainly been the quarry here in Huntsville or the one in Pelham... they are good places to do check-out dives at - nothing really to write home about... I like tropical setting much better...  Thanks for letting me know you b a diver...
