Sharon...

Have never done an aquarium... though a number of my dive buddies have... they say it's an experience... Great to hear you dive - I'll add you to the growing list of class mates that do dive... And Yes - that was my thought - to put together a dive outing - where/when/etc - still TBD... still in the early planning phase - though will keep ya posted... thanks for letting me know you be a diver!

Greetings from Chile South America.

Sorry I missed the event. Too bad the restaraunt didn't have Wi-Fi. I was on line with hopes at 630pm Alabama time. No worries if anyone tried to contact me. The Wi-Fi here was spotty as well. Hopefully next one I'll just be able to make it to Huntsville.

Cheers,

J.D.

It was a great evening tonight, Rick.....thanks to all who were able to come making it special- J.D., we tried to Skype, even w/o WiFi, and weren't able to connect- Tony Campbell had his iPad, and tried a couple of times to get through, but there was no answer, hopefully you'll be able to make our next get together ( scheduled for April )- More details will follow soon.

It was a great evening, and a great turnout - We are going to start the preparations for the next get together soon- Thanks again for a fantastic time tonight at Rosie's.

First, mom had a really blessed time.  Eleven of you had been to the house when we lived across from the school on Bailey Cove.  She was happy.

Second,  Sweetie (Debra McKannan) knew three or four present especially those in ROTC.  Thanks for making her evening memorable.

Finally, the evening was dejavu with the laughter.  It was like we had never been away for 40 years.

Thanks!

Sixty Year birthday celebration for class of 74.  My notes:

The plan was to do this in 2016 since everyone would be due or done with their 60th by then.

Ideas bantered about were:

A) Attending the high school's homecoming game  and getting some recognition and....

B) following that with some sort of class gathering on or around that same weekend.

Cruise ship idea for the gathering also put forth.

Nothing has been finalized. Ideas still accepted.  Event Commitee still to be formed.

I must be one of the class' neophytes......won't hit the big 6-0 until next July.

But, count me in.

Hi everyone.  The record cold weather here in northeast Ohio has given me an opportunity to stay indoors and sort through years of moving boxes in my basement.  Last weekend I uncovered some great photos of our Awards Day along with additional pictures of graduation.  They're not in the best condition, and posting involved scanning and photoshopping from small prints, but the memories are awesome.  I've posted the awards day pictures in the Class of 74 Photo Galleries link under the "Open Pics" category and will try to get the rest of the graduation pictures posted this weekend.  I will also move the few graduation pictures I have on my profile page over to that gallery so they will all be in one place.  Hope you enjoy them!

Hey Tommy!

Appreciate you taking the time and effort to post the pictures!

I didn't walk the stage with everyone but remember the folks your named; each conjuring up my own memories and reminding me that more time is in our rear view mirror than is up the road ahead.

Does anyone known where Terri Humphreys is? She was always beauty & brains, sweet & kind.  And Ricky Sneed...so likeable, smart, and always a gentleman.

If we had to do those years all over again what would that look like? I suspect we would not have been in such a rush to grow up and perhaps just spend more time getting to know the people we didn't already know.

Thanks again Tommy, for prompting our memories.

Stay warm!

Ruth

Cool pix, Tommy!  Much appreciated.

Thanks guys - I will be adding a few more over the next few days.  Vance, thanks for the ID on Chuck.  I couldn't figure him out because the focus drops off towards the back.   I also need to give props to my brother Eddy (class of '76) for taking the pictures at both events.
