After college graduation, I went to work for Touché, Ross as a junior accountant. Soon I was working on an audit for a start up commercial carpet company and they ask me to join them as a part time accountant and learn sales, part time. A year later, I was able to buy out one of the owners. Later the other owner. 30 years later, I sold my company. I stayed with the company for 12 more years and, now, only maintain an office there. My free time is mostly spent playing golf and enjoying my 5 grandchildren.

I transferred from Stanford B Ladd & earlier Boarder Star elementary to Boone elementary in Miss Arnold’s fourth grade class in the basement of a church on Wornall Rd. She told Jeff Marks to show me around take me with him to recess. He’s been my friend ever since. I had a nice class experience throughout my Center career. We were the first class to open the Junior high on 103st and the first class to open Center High. I enjoyed the company of many nice classmates, but unfortunately didn’t realize what relationships I missed, until I worked on the 50th class reunion and got to more people even better. In general it was all good!
One of my memories was attending Vic Blands wedding, being paddled by him, sitting in English class when they announced President Kennedy being shot, Center beating PemDay for the Basketball state championship, sorry Becky.
