"My dad passed away this morning in Indianapolis,IN in a car accident. I spoke with him Friday morning and he told me of this site and he was so excited about getting in touch with his old friends. My dad had suffered greatly the past few years due to cancer. Thank you for this website. It gave him another link to his NC home which he missed and loved so very, very much."

 

Kenneth Earl Wade passed away Monday January 9, 2012. He had a great enthusiasm for life and a great love for his family and friends. It was his cheerful personality that touched the hearts of all who knew and were drawn to him. His family and friends will miss him greatly. 


INDIANAPOLIS - Kenneth E. "Kenny" Wade, 65, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Jan. 9, 2012.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 22, at Woodman of the World Lodge in Kinston.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Campbell Wade of the home; step-mother, Betty Wade; five children, Kenny Jo Wade of Indiana, and Becky Butler, Kellie Staten, Andy and Derrick Wade, all of North Carolina; six siblings, JC Wade, Jane Hoover, Teresa Whaley, Kathy Smith, Kim Fields and Emma Hunter; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Kenny Jo Wade College Fund in care of Jane Hoover, 836 Deppe Road, Maysville, NC 28555.
