Bill was a childhood friend. His mother Maime and my mother Hilda were good friends. He use to attend my birthday parties and we had Easter egg hunts at his house. His sister Molly was younger than us. I beleive we were altar boys at St. Mary's church in Kinston. At the last reunion he talked with me about civil war history which I also have an interest. I believe his family had a rich civil war sevice history as did my family. I believe he was related to Meriweather Lewis. I will miss talking with him at our 45th. reunion.
