After military service I went to work for American Steel for 32 years (1999), retired and was hired by a friend working government contracts with the new recruit's going into the service. Traveled a lot around the country training new liaisons at each contract. Retired in 2008 from C.M.S and am enjoying my retirement, and my grand-kids.
School Story:

Army dances records (the old snow ball) and local bands. Teenage night club. The Beatle craze.
School games ---White shirt section, basketball. Draging Adams ave. Nels in and out. Elgin dances.
I must admit the early 60s were good times.

Mike May passed away July 23, 2020 of cancer. My child hood friend you will be missed.

On July 23, 2020, Michael Doran May ended his battle with cancer. Mike was a kind, big-hearted guy who loved and was loved by many.

Mike was born June 11, 1946, and raised in La Grande, Oregon. He lived there most of his life, maintaining a wide circle of friends. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, completing three tours on the U.S.S. Iwo Jima. Mike was proud of his service, and service became a driving force in his life.
