Dennis Helmreich

Greetings to all.

I really do not know how to use this venue, but here goes.

A couple of meetings ago we got to talking about Medicare.  In June I qualified for Medicare.  The guy who helped me was excellent.  Now if any of our classmates (Jim Willis?) offer same or similar products, you may choose to ignore this information.

That being said, the fellow who helped me is Cliff Pickett.  He lives out in Jennings Mill, is a prince of a fellow, really knows his stuff, and if any of you need a resource he would be glad to help you and will do a great job for you.  Cliff may be reached at 706.548.7165.

When I think of something clever or witty I will try to get back on this medium again!  If y'all feel charitable, let me know this message went through the right way.  Thanks.

Hi friends! It's been so long since I've been on this site, I had forgotten my password. I've been catching up on what I've missed. I will be 65 very soon and my mail box has been filled with Medicare supplement plans. I have single-handledly kept the Post Office in business. Anyway, my state retirement offered a Medicare Advantage plan so I am going with that. I hope I made the right decision. It's good to read all your comments. Hope everyone is well and happy. Love to all.

Well, "Hi" everybody!  I think I MAY be the youngest. Of course it's all relative, because the only place I'm ever the youngest anymore is when I go visit the nursing homes on Tuesdays. I've even seen a few people younger than me there! I was born on Oct. 11, making me a few days younger than Nancy on Oct. 5th. I haven't checked in here in a month of Sundays, so aim glad I saw this activity. Gail, I'm getting the same mail and phone calls you are. Nobody's called or written me so much since Dick and I were dating.

Y'all take care. It's GREAT to hear from you! I know Danny has become a grandpa for the first time, so David, you gotta share the title😊 Oh, and if anybody's younger than me, congratulations.

Diane

I'm ashamed to say that I've become lax in checking our class site here. I've just seen the kind messages to Ralph regarding Mitchell's death. Ralph, Dick and I join everyone else in offering our sympathy. I will always remember Mitchell as the friendly young guy from OCHS. All our love to you, Ralph.

Also, thanks Jimmy, for the birthday memo from Enterprise. It was  extra special because it  came from that little spot of the county.

Louise, I just saw on Facebook that your Aunt Doris died, who you loved so much. I'm so sorry. No matter how much we know that death comes to everyone sooner or later, it's always heartbreaking to say goodbye to someone we love. Heaven is becoming more and more populated with those we long to see again.

Take care, my friends. Love to all.

My friend Gene Bray was hospitalized in Athens recently for COPD. I learned through him that Charles McGarity was also there following an accidental fall. Anybody know how he is?BTW Gene is younger brother of Jess Allen Bray. He is home now but still symptomatic.
