After graduation went to Univ. of Miami at Coral Gables
Married Walter Phinder. 1963. Had 3 children, lived in Veracruz,ver and then lived in Cuernavaca where I had a Flower Shop and became a wedding planner, florist for 20 years.
We decided to live in San Diego since 1996
I now live in Nashville Tn. To be near my youngest daughter and family!
School Story and Memories:

I wonder if anybody remembers the Big sitting Santa Claus that moved in its chair, back and forth. Exposed in a big window at Sears Department Store on Insurgentes !
JO! JO, JO! JO! JO! JO! JO, JO!!!
This was soooo important to me , loved to see him , of course we were very young then.

What interesting experiences did you have in Mexico or anywhere else? Tell us about anything of importance or lasting impression to you!

When President Kennedy was in Mexico and visited AHS
All the 4th of July parties!!!
Also the 100 th anniversary. Great Party!!! Lots of fun!!

What brought your family to Mexico (if applicable), and how long did they live in the DF? How many years did you attend the American School (or other school)?

My dad worked for International General Electric first in Argentina then in Mexico City. Married my mom, and we were born Grace 1942, Mary Lou in 1945, and Harry 1948
Dad was also President of the American Chamber of Commerce until 1962 when he passed away!

Where did you live in the DF (street, Colonia, etc.)?

Sierra Ventana 584. Lomas de Chapultepec

To what clubs and teams did you belong, and in what other activities did you participate?

Was a twirler first and then Drum Majorette
We marched for the Shriners starting at 20 de Noviembre, Zocalo, Ave Juarez, Reforma hasta el Castillo de Chapultepec! It must have been in 1960!
