I owned a Thoroughbred Broodmare farm for 18 years in Shreveport, Louisiana.
I volunteered as VP Shreveport Regional Arts Council 10 yrs
On Boards of Symphony, Arts, Meadows Museum, Woman’s Club

Dressage
3 day Eventing

I graduated and went to Stephens College for 2 years graduating with AA degree
I attended Southern Methodist University graduating with BA in Political Science/Languages

What interesting experiences did you have in Mexico or anywhere else? Tell us about anything of importance or lasting impression to you!

I live on a longhorn and horse ranch in the Texas Hill Country with my retired husband. We ride every chance we get and travel when we can.

In Puerto Vallarta we lived next door to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Elizabeth Taylor was a good friend of my Mothers. I became their interpreter when I was visiting for vacations while in college.

What brought your family to Mexico (if applicable), and how long did they live in the DF? How many years did you attend the American School (or other school)?

My parents left Houston, Texas for move to Mexico City after living in Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta for vacations and holidays. My father was a lawyer in investment and development.
Attended AHS 4 or 5 years graduating in 1962.
We lived in Mexico for a total of 10+ years before moving to New Orleans, Louisiana.
