We moved to Florida and I finished high school in Ft. Myers. I came back to Texas and got an A.A. in Journalism at Tyler Junior College. Returned to Florida, got my B.A. in Mass Communications at Univ. of Miami. I worked in several management positions with non-profit organizations in Florida and Texas and with publications and retail companies also. I retired due to health problems in 1997. I was blessed to marry Robanne Greer from Abilene in 1977 and we had a Christ-centered marriage till her death in 1992. After several lonely years, God blessed me with another wonderful Christian woman in my life,and I married Janice Raye Attkisson and moved to Houston in 2004.
I'm still retired and Jan just retired from Houston ISD after 25 years. She hopes to supplement her retirement income by teaching at a Christian school starting fall of 2012. We attend Bellaire Church of Christ.
