Married. Had two wonderful children. Taught voice and piano at Lubbock Christian University several years. Moved to Wichita Falls for 2 years, then on to Graham in 1983. We've lived in Graham since then. Taught Elementary Music in all three elementary schools in Graham for 6 years. Then taught High School and Junior High School Choir for 4 years before I retired in 1997. (My health had deteriorated to the point that I no longer was able to keep up with the rigorous activities of two choirs.)
Before I began teaching, I wrote and published 3 volumes of SING A SONG, containing about 300 original Bible School songs for pre-school through second or third grade students. The songs were coordinated with actual Bible Class lessons, and most were easy enough that the children could sing along with the teacher. I also made a tape to go with each one. In addition to SING A SONG, I have arranged a number of hymns for our singing group at church. I sang soprano with JOYFUL SOUND, a ladies' quartet that was active for several years.
