The October meeting was attended by 20 members.  Unfortunately, our guest speakers, the boys’ basketball coaches did  not show.  So, we had another evening of socializing with members which was a great night.  We had 2 new faces join us – John Stanley and Jim Yeager.  So nice to see them!

The meeting was called to order and the treasurer’s report and minutes were presented. 

Hank reminded everyone that elections for officers and board members will be held at the November meeting.  At the recent board meeting the current officers and board members agreed to serve another term but nominations are open from the membership for the ballot. Members should notify him or Dennis Reiss of any nominations.

Hank mentioned that  the first undefeated football team of 1966  celebrated a 60-year anniversary and were recognized at the William Allen football game on October 1, 2026.

The first Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic PGA Tour Champions Event took place at Lehigh Country Club on the first weekend of October and Dale Ritter spoke to the club about his volunteer experience there.  He worked at the registration desk and registered the caddies for the event.  He said it was a very interesting and a great experience. 

There was no new business from the members.  Meeting was adjourned.
