How did you meet your spouse or partner?

We knew each other from working together at Western Baptist years ago. Later, we each went through divorces, and met again at a Bible study class at Heartland. He is the man that I'd always asked God for and he is very good to me.

I love interior decorating, painting, and hanging out with my family.

Unforgettable High School memory (good or bad):

My junior year, I was caught skipping school with my boyfriend at the time (Randall Cruse). I got licks from Tommy Stevenson (now it is against the law to give kids licks). When I got home, I got spanked again from my dad and was grounded for a month.

It seems like no matter how old we get, I still feel a strong tie to my classmates. It broke my heart to find out of the passing of Bonnie Bassett Hanson and Doug Story and Kathy Waggoner Hagan. They were my friends as are all of my "old" classmates. We don't talk or stay in touch, but we had our times together as kids and it was good. The LOHS family will always be a part of me.
