I think we need to keeep it in California since it's the 50th. Through my job i can get us a discount for a cruise atound the Harbor here in Long Beach. It's a two hour cruise that might be fun if we did it on a friday night and then had our Saturday night at a resurtant here in down town Long Beach, like the Reef or Queen Mary. Just a thought

Personally, I like the off shore ideas. (Catalina or 3 day to Ensenada...... I know it is a party barge but what are you gonna do?)  my ONLY request is the timing.  Early summer or late spring before June 15th.  ⛴🛳⚓️  If an eblast to those that have one,  letting all that should know what's up and to start saving their change for maybe the best reunion the class of '68 will have.

I wasn't able to make the last get together, but I would love to go to Lynne's for a mini reunion next summer. Since I'm in the Portland, Oregon area it would be a 6-7 hour drive. As far as the post about the cruise from Lorene, I love the idea of a 2 to 3 day cruise. My vote goes for that. Hope all of you are enjoying your summer. Sounds like things in Corona are pretty sketchy with the break ins. I'm happy we retired to the PNW. Loving the weather here and not as heavily populated. Thanks for all the suggestions for the 50th. Looking forward to hearing the final results.

I'll be at our 50th if it's in Sri Lanka.  California is probably easier for most, though.

We want maximum participation -- so cheap and simple is good -- but we also want it to be SPECIAL!

So, the cruise is an intriguing idea, but we'd want to have a get-together the night before, as well.  That way, we get to see everybody and also celebrate with those who want to go all-out.

Of course, it's easy for me to throw out ideas for others to execute!  Maybe a useful thought, though.

I like the idea of a 3 day cruise, I've done the one to Ensenada and it makes a nice weekend!  The Queen Mary has nice rooms, they are decorated in the style when the ship was actually cruising.  I've heard the Mission Inn is beautiful so it will be a fun decision to make.  My brother graduated in 1969 so I could be bringing him with me to the 50th Reunion.  I can't believe it when I say "50th Reunion" out loud!  I hope everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying the summer months.

Don, I've had both knees replaced and it's been great I don't have the pain anymore.  I  was having injections and they weren't working.   Now I get aound so much better.

Tom, Stu said he likes your idea on taking in a Dodger game during the 50th reunion week-end.  That would be fun week-end that Linda suggested. Looking forward to hearing more about what is decided.

Hi Classmates
I first want to wish you all a very Blessed and Happy New Year.

I'm sorry to say mine hasn't started off so well. We lost my dad Jan.26th no he's not lost he passed away at the age of 91. He was still full of life driving his boat and his antique 1930 Chevy. He drove his RV from Idaho along the coast then onto Parker, AZ where he stayed with my brother. Some how he broke his back down there and no matter how many doctors my brother took him too they just couldn't fix him.
All my kids and my husband and I drove down and brought him back home to Idaho. He was only here a few days and said he was just done.He was an amazing dad and I am going to miss him terribly.
Treasure all the times you have with your parents. Thank you to all of you that reached out to me. Hope to see you at the 50th. Love to all....Lynne

Hi group, and Happy New Year to one and all.

Lynne, please accept my condolences with the passing of your father. I know it's tough to                                   adjust to something like this.

Also, please add my name to the 2018 reunion list and keep me posted on the where and                            when. I am absolutely ok with when and where the group wants to hold it. I'm also ok with                           adding the classes of '69 and '70 with ours.

Let me know anyone is passing through Honolulu, it would be great getting caught up over                        drinks. 808-223-6050 (c)
