I believe I read a post from Mark Overstreet inviting everyone to meet at the bar on the Queen Mary Friday night but it's not there now.  Have I completely lost my mind or was it there and erased for some reason?

Robin the post should be there. Anyone who wants to meet Friday night in the Lounge at 7:00 pm for a pre reunion. Rooms are still available at this time. I will be talking to the Queen Mary tomorrow to finalize some things.

Hi,
Sounds like everyone is getting excited for the big 50th Reunion
I know Laurene has been working her tail off to make this a great event for everyone. It's hard to believe 50 years, I wonder how many classes have even had a 50 year reunion with this kind of turn out?
I haven't been on our class site for quite sometime.
I hope everyone is well.
God Bless
Lynne

I was very excited and all set for our class reunion, unfortunately, I am not going to be able to attend. I found out yesterday that my sweetheart, Richard, needs to have open heart surgery as soon as possible.  He will be admitted to the hospital on Monday for an angiogram and then will have the open heart surgery the following day. Please pray that all goes well with the surgery and that he will have a speedy recovery.

I will miss seeing all of you.  Have a wonderful time and post losts of pictures.

Warmest regards,

Phyllis

It will be wonderful to see Genie Vasco again!!  I'm so sorry Phyllis, that you won't be able to make the reunion I know you were looking forward to coming!!  And Happy Birthday to Mike Lampman!!  Mike I hope you had a great birthday!!  See you all soon!!

Happy Birthday Mike.  You're a youngster!

Phyllis, God Bless you, I gave a prayer.  I can say from experience that there is plenty of life after heart surgery. My cousin's husband had a triple bypass four years ago and he's doing very well. Surgeons with advanced technology can do wonders.

I look forward to see and talking to all of you this coming weekend.  I did send out a bunch of letters to fellow classmates who were not on the list.  I hope that they will reconsider, and join us.

Looking forward to both Friday and Saturday nights!  I've copied that record that came with the 1966 Jolly Roger to an MP3, if anyone is interested in getting it.  Also, I'm bringing my 1968 Jolly Roger to get some autographs.  :)

WOW! Now that was a reunion to remember! Of course we all need to thank Maureen and Loreen, Mark Overstreet and all the volunteers who helped make this such a great event. MANY THANKS.

It was so great to see everyone and catch up on the past and present. I'm so glad I was able to connect with so many fellow classmates and party like it was 1968. The dance floor was the place to be and thanks to the Hodges for getting it started and to all the ladies who kept me on my feet. What a blast!

I sincerely wish all the Class of '68 the very best and hope to see you again whenever and wherever we can.

Best regards, Mike

Hello All,

I must agree with Mike on a wonderful party Lorene and Maurene planned for us. And, many thanks to the volunteers who made things happen. My husband (Chris) and I truly enjoyed ourselves...it was an "E-Ticket Ride".  It was so great to reconnect with classmates and catch up. Other than the check-in process at the hotel, the Queen Mary was the perfect place for all of us Pirates!

I thoroughly agree with my classmates Mike and Sandy on what was shared from their hearts about our very special time we all spent together this weekend. It goes beyond what even words can’t express how much it meant for me to be there with everyone. Let’s remember it was mentioned that on Saturday, October 6, there will be a picnic at Paramount Park and I believe it’s going to be a gathering other classes along with ours. Maybe someone could verify that for us all, please? There is so much going on with all of our lives, time is moving way too fast and I would love to see us all have an annual gathering however we can do that, wherever we can do that.  Again thank U, thank U, thank U to everybody that helped put all of this together, hope you get lots of rest and i look forward to seeing many of you in October. Bless you all. JFP 😎

Thank you Lorene for all the work you put in for our Reunion!!  You planned a perfect party for us!!  Thank you to all the volunteers for helping Lorene through the process of making it a beautiful evening.  So good to see everyone again, I enjoyed the conversations and getting to know some folks I didn't really know in school, I'm sorry to have missed some that did not show up.  Being on the Queen Mary was a bonus.  I had a great time!!  Thank you and I love you all!!

Hi Classmates
Boy am I sad that I MISSED THE BOAT, it sounds like one of the best reunions ever. I can't thank Lorene enough for all she did to help make me feel like I was almost there. It was so great to see so many of your smiling faces. You all looked so wonderful.
I plan on making the next one that's for darn sure. I hope and pray that we will have a 55th and we will all still be around to enjoy each other.
Everyone take care of yourselves so we can have that chance to meet up again. Love you all, Lynne

Rosa and I had a wonderful time.  I throughly enjoyed talking to you all.  Time flew by and I wish I could have talked to more of you.  God willing, there will be time in the future.  You folks act like youngsters compared to our parents when they were our age.

I'd be glad to see you in October and every couple of years after that.  Going to P. H. S. during the 60's gave us a small town environment.  Safe and civil.

Thank you all for sharing you time and energy.  Spending time with you is another wonderful memory.

Thank you Maurene and Lorene and everyone who contributed,
