Well Guys, if you want weather, come to Oklahoma. This Sunday afternoon around 2 o'clock, I went to the store to get some things for the Progressive Dinner Party we were going to have that evening. The sky was sunny and it was 72 degrees. During the Progressive Dinner, when leaving a house to go to another the temperature kept dropping. By the time we arrived at the last house it was sleeting. The temperature had gone from 72 degrees to a freezing 21 degrees,(before the night was over it was down to 10 degrees with the wind chill factor at 1 degree). We had another couple riding with us and since they were older, I was trying to help them up their driveway through the ice. My husband wanted to help them but I wouldn't let him. My husband has had a total hip replacement on the right hip, and a total knee replacement on the left knee. He had the type of replacement where the bone is grafted into the prosthesis. I can't have him out in this stuff, and taking a risk in falling. We are luck to be able to drive the car in the garage and walk into the house from the garage. The weather was so bad that school was closed yesterday and today. That part was great because it allowed me to get caught up on a few things at home, like clean up after Sunday night's party. School is open tomorrow even though we still have quite a bit of ice on the ground and it is still in the 20's. Oh, well, back to the old job for 3 more days, (I have bus duty for the rest of the week in the afternoon), and then YEAH!!!, winter break for a couple of weeks. Have a Blessed Christmas!! And remember, "Wise men still seek Him and then serve Him!"
