I agree with you Billie. After the 40 year reunion I wished I had taken more time to visit with everyone. At Lorene's for the mini reunion the best time was when everyone that stayed late sat around the tables and chatted. Everyone kind of took a turn at telling stories of their lives that we could all hear and join in. I know it would be harder to do that with a big group but perhaps we can arrange tables so that we can have closer contact with everyone.

Hopefully Steve and I will be able to make this one.

Pat, that's note even enough snow for this old girl, didn't you see my photos of Yellowstone? Now that's some snow.
Poor Dorothy Smaller, now shes got some snow issues.

Our snow in Idaho has melted some and now it's icy on top and we can't even snowbobile on that stuff, so we are praying for some fresh snow. I know you guys can't believe it. It's going to be 6 degrees laster on next week. BUNDLE UP!

I feel the same as everyone else about the reunion. I wish I would have taken more time to sit and talk with everyone. We were pretty busy putting things together for everyone that the time just flew by. So thankful for the time we did take to go to dinner and to lunch, but missed so many. I think I have talked to more people since the reunion than I ever did at the reunion or in school. I am looking forward to going and do just that, reconnecting with everyone. Hope to see everyone in June if nothing come up to prevent us from attending.

All, we should have a great time visiting at the Vegas Party, we know each other so much better today thanks to the creation of this forum (thank you Phyllis). It's been fun learning a bit about your families, and the journey you've taken since high school. I've enjoyed listening to your stories and sharing a few as well, it's been a wonderful experience for me.

I'm eager to see you again in June, don't be surprised if I give you a big hug --I feel as if we're old friends...

Thanks for the positive poem I guess you would call it. Wouldn't this world be a much better place if we all did some of those things?

I'm looking forward to seeing you again in Las Vegas, I must say you were one of the highlights of my 40 year reunion. You were so kind and caring, and really a good friend, to this little old gal from po dunk Idaho that flew to the big city of Las Vegas. WOW, I still can't believe you guys talked me into that, but I sure am glad you did.

Celebrating our 40th Anniversary next week end, not much celebration since the boss is making my husband work on Saturday. So, maybe we will celebrate in Las Vegas with Don and Geneva. That's if the boss lets him off work in June. I guess the way this economy is today, I better be thankful he has such a great job right? Ok, I am I am.

Yes, it is going to be so much fun this June in Vegas, just seeing everyone again and especially you and Bob. We almost have everything done as you seen by the info I emailed you - will have everything finalized by mid-week - you know the contract signing and deposit stuff and all.
Stu had a great time at the Pro-Am - he got to bowl with 2 of his favorite pros - Pete Weber and Norm Duke. I'll have the pics posted soon on our picassa site for you to see.

Peggy and Marianna are finalizing plans for the Vegas Party, it's just a matter of days before classmates receive their detailed information. I know Peggy and Marianna worked diligently to find the best venue at the best price. Trust me, they've done an AWESOME job!

Lynne and Carol, I know how excited you are about coming to Vegas for this party, just hang in there a few days longer and you'll have all the details necessary to plan your trip. Lynne, I hope you can bring your husband with you to Vegas, poor guy, he's always working, he really deserves a vacation.

Kudos to Peggy and Marianna for all the leg work they've done thus far for our party, from using their personal vacation time to visit several venues and meet with event staff, gas for their autos (not cheap these days!) and for all of the hundred little things involved in planning a party of this size. We, your classmates, appreciate you!

I really don't care where it's going to be, just as long as we are all together again. I'm like you I am going to take more pictures than I did the last time. There was someone that thought I was a little crazy with all the photos, but gosh look at all the memories I have now.
I have made the best scrap books with the 40 year reunion, Lorene's reunion and girls day at the beach it's amazing.

Can't wait to see you and Bob again, and I hope that Martin will be able to come with me too.

For all of you. Ron Dumphy and I got together last week. He doesn't have a computer. Doesn't want one. He said that he received letters from many of you and was thankful for the photos and well wishes. He's waiting to have surgery on his knee. He said that the operation would probably be around May. Other than gaining a few pounds, fewer than I've gained, he's still full of jokes.

Thank you for the posting and yes, Marianna and I and Billie are still working on a few details and this should finalized this week and a contract in hand. With these events we have to sign a contract and of course make sure everything is in order first. We will be sending out the info very soon as far as deposits and such. All the hotels require large deposits for the events some more than others, the Gold Coast last year was $1000.00 and they don't like to wait for their money. But anyway - once we have the deal done we will let you all know.

Gosh who would have thought you'd end up with so many classmates for this mini reunion? I guess folks just like that Las Vegas!!! Are we still going to be on the Freemont street area? If so, I think we should start a guessing contest and the winner gets a free drink or something like that.

So, my guess is the only place that I know of and that is the GOLD NUGGET? At least I think that is the place we went too.

Yes, our list grew pretty fast. I hope your husband will be able to attend this time - he sounds like such a wonderful man - can't wait to meet him.

No contest on where it is going to be - sorry. But details are coming. Vegas does seem to be the hot spot and it is just so much fun and it doesn't require gambling - great shows and just being able to see one another again will be great.

On requirement is for everyone to bring a camera as we will be setting up a website for the party pictures. More details to come on that.

I didn't do much to help plan the party, Peggy and Marianna did all the leg work on securing the venue, catering, set-up, social activity, etc. I guess you could say I am the communication liason. Actually, I'll be providing detailed information on the Message Forum very shortly as to the party venue, cost, social/party agenda, etc.

Carol, thanks for offering to help with an email blast to classmates and a PHS homepage message, we'll be reaching out to you very soon, that's a great help.

Peggy is mailing letters to all classmates outlining party details, she is also enclosing a self-addressed envelope for classmates to return their check for the cost of dinner, letters should arrive in the mail next week. Please be sure to remit your check for the cost of dinner to Peggy as soon as possible for dinner confirmation purposes.

More specific party details to come later this evening....
