Jere Beasley

I had a wonderful career in software automating manufacturing operatioins around the world. Looked at my watch one day and it said, "You've been working 40 years". Retired within 4 months. Moved less than a year ago to Boulder CO to be closer to children, mine and Nicki's, and to live in an adult cohousing community.

Studied Physics at Carnegie Institute of Technologh, now part of Carnegie Mellon University. Worked for Uncle Sam for 3 years in the DC area, then back to Pittsburgh for a short stint in grad school. Got into full time computing and computing applications while working at the Mellon Institue.
