Lisa, wishing you another Happy Birthday. They come too quickly these days. Are you settled in Portugal. Have only been there once. Spent a couple days in Portugal awaiting a flight to Azores Island (beautiful and dramatic). Was there on business. Nancy and I are living in Austin and Atlanta ... good cuisine in both places! All the best.

Jack, very sorry to learn of your Wife's passing. Mine is a cancer survivor also and we live every day 'watchful'. I'm Class of '61 so didn't know you. We live in Austin but and all my nieces and nephews are Aggies grads, plus I had many Aggie colleagues when I was on active duty. Here in Austin my brother-in-law was a U of Texas department head and gave me a big Longhorns sweatshirt for Christmas. Bummer!. I just told him 'Beat Navy!'

Lisa, a happy, albeit belated, Happy Birthday to you. Nancy and I just returned this evening from 4 days in Sedona, Arizona. You, as an art history professor, would love it there. One of the most beautiful locations in our country. All the best to you.

Gunter, was just looking through the PAHS website at recently updated profiles. Happened onto yours and I notice that you are in the Atlanta area. I live in West Cobb county. Came to retired here in 2000. Then worked for about 10 years for an int'l franchise company and 'fully' retired 3 years ago. Might be fun to get together sometime over coffee and relive some PAHS stories. I visited the school campus several years ago and it was an active school primarily for English-speaking business families and diplomats. We had a unique experience during our time there. All the best to you.

I regret to announce that my brother, Charlie, passed away on May 19, 2017. He had been dealing with a serious lymphoma issue for several years and it finally took him to his God. Charlie was an incredible, loving, fun person. All who knew him loved him. My brother, Phil, sister Trish and our families miss him dearly. Dan Benton, Class of 1961.
Lisa, a 2-day belated Happy Birthday to you. I'd been in Montreal last few days but my cell carrier had no int'l capability (which I intend to change). I'm now 'fully retired' and still in the Atlanta area. Nancy keeps me busy with 'home upkeep' and our Golden Doodle, Ms. Roxi. We get to DC fairly often so perhaps I'll give a shout. All the best to you and yours. Dan
