Betty Jones Brown

I left JAHS in June 1958. Michael Zar and I had a lovely daughter on 12/29/1958, named Donna. I had 7 more children over the next 20 years and now have 27 grandchildren and 4 gr grandchildren.

I had a nice career as a NICU nurse, taking care of babies born with problems. I have spent my life surrounded by babies, one way or the other and feel very fortunate to have spent so many years being so happy.

I am now retired and spend my time sewing and keeping in touch with family members. I also have a Kindle loaded with books to fill in any idle hours..LOL

I loved my years at PAHS. I was in the chorus, the Chess club and worked in the counselors office. Mr flowers was the counselor at the time.
when I started the job, the filing system was out of the dark ages and I completely revamped the entire collection of college catalogues and occupational interests file.

Years later, these organizational skills came in handy in my genealogy work. I have a family history of more than 5000 ancestors go back to 800AD...
