Marrene and I moved to Concho going on 12 years,now, and truly believe we are where we were always meant to be. Both of us are very involved with our community and our Church. We would love to see anyone interested in getting away from the crowds. NOTE:
We are 4 hours from the nearest airport! Love it!
About 3 years ago, I encountered major problems in finding anyone who understood Medicare. So, I got licensed to take care of my friends and neighbors. This has proven to be so fulfilling (helping others with questions no one seemed to have answers for) that I am now building an Agency! Been fun, rewarding, and profitable.

Chapter 2
My longest time friend, Tony Janairo, insisted that I take a few moments to bring you up to speed on my most recent and lifetime commitment: The House of Onions. So here goes my best shot!
About 6 years ago, our little Catholic Church in Concho, AZ, received a visiting Priest from India. While Father Marreddy was with us for just a year, we built quite a strong friendship and 2 years ago come January 2016 he came to the States to visit. Little did I know he was to spring a project on me that will be with me as long as I can be effective. We started the process of putting together a 501(C)(3) foundation for children infected or affected by the AIDS virus. In my recent trip to India, the plight of these children was seen each day of my 10 day visit. All this is narrated in words, pictures and videos on our newly revamped website: www.houseofonions.org
I'd like to invite all of you reading thid update to pay us a visit! While a sad story, it also can be viewed as one of HOPE, for each child I can help spend a few brief happy days in his too short of life will be worth every dollar spent in the completion of their home and then providing a loving and healthy invironment to experience happiness.

Update: December 2, 2024
I lost my wife of 53 years on Ash Wednesday 2019. After returning to Arizona some 20 years ago (we first met at Fort Huachuca when she was 11 and I 13), her passing left me with no reason to remain in the home we had looked forward to for so long. Her ashes are entombed in the columbarium at West Point, NY, one of her favorite places we ever spent time. In June this year, I relocated to Delaware to be closer to many old friends from days gone by.
