Bonnie Seay Miller

After graduating from PAHS I attended the Sorbonne, but shortly afterwards
married a French sweetheart I met when we were very young living in Orléans and ten years later had two sons. We returned to North Carolina but decided to part ways. I later married and attended UNC-Greensboro and UNC-Chapel Hill for degrees in Social Work. I have been fortunate to work in Medical settings using my French, Spanish and English. I currently am enrolled at UNC-G seeking a degree in French Literature and am delighted to learn so much about the country where I spent much of my life. Several trips back within the last years have enabled me to show my husband many of the wonders of the country.

My special memory was of my choir teacher, Mr. Olivera. I loved learning the Hallelujah Chorus. He demonstrated for me a passion for music which I have carried with me.
I enjoy reading of other’s memories of PAHS; I remember very little since I spent much time walking around discovering Paris.
