What years and grades did you attend at Paris American High School?

I was there from September 1958 to June 1961. I graduated in 1961.

Where did you live while attending PAHS?

Fontainebleau

Who or what influenced you most at PAHS?

Loved the Dorm from 58-61 and the trains from Melun to Paris. We lived in Fontaine-le-Port, about 25 minutes from the fort in Fontainebleau. After PAHS, I missed out on a West Point congressional due to medical reasons. I spent a lost year at U of Minnesota and then transferred to Texas Western College (UT-EP now) where I got an accounting BBA in 1965 and went into banking.

What were your favorite places or things to do in Paris as a PAHS student?

Loved the outings into PAris proper. Saw paul Anka and a groupp ofmus talked to him after hisshow.

What is one moment from your PAHS years you never forgot?

Being Class President and Student Council President. Sorm candy sales.

Looking back, what did living in Paris during your teenage years mean to you?

Greater understanding of Europe and its culture.
