I remember you from your photograph. Do you remember me? I was in the Art Club in Paris, and also the Drill Team. My dad died in a car accident in 1964 and my mom was badly injured in that accident. She was shipped from Paris to Wiesbaden for better medical care. The military couldn't get rid of us children fast enough..I was 16, my sister Cindy was 17 and my baby sister was 13. It was very traumatic and I hated leaving Paris American. Lindy O'Bert

I, too, was moved to tears watching that grand old beauty burn and collapse upon itself. There are sites where you can donate to the rebuilding effort. I went online and gave what I could. Paris will always be a part of us - it's in our hearts. God bless the Parisians!
