Comments:

My husband, Andy, passed January 3, 2020 after a 26-year struggle with Parkinson's Disease, the result of Agent Orange exposure in Viet Nam. Due to COVID restrictions, his funeral did not take place until July 17th, and interment with full military honors was September 25th at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. My heart is heavy, but my resolve is great to assist other veterans and their families affected by service-connected disabilities. I work as a volunteer with a group of dedicated veterans and legislators to build a long-term care facility for veterans in the Pikes Peak Region, an area with over 100,000 veterans. We have made a great deal of progress in the two years since I began the campaign to raise awareness of the need for such a facility.

Nicki, I was class of 1974, so I guess that's why we didn't connect. We live in Denver in the Pinnacle condos right across the street from Denver City Park at 17th and Fillmore. Hope you had a wonderful birthday 2024. My son and his family live on Wilson Road way up on top of Mountain Shadows. Where are you? You can reach me at 303-305-9641

Hi Cynthia. I didn't see your comment on Kitsy's profile until today. Next time you are in Colorado Springs visiting your family, give me a call at 719-481-0426. Maybe we can meet up!

Kitsy - I loved reading your memories of Paris. I moved to Paris summer of 1966 from Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Knew your sister Mabby (Mary?) who was a friend of my brother, John Fairlamb. She used to come over and use our tape player to listen to recordings from her French boyfriend. Oh, the memories. I was in the class of 1967 which moved mid-year to Stuttgart, Germany with EUCOM Hqs. Paris will remain a big part of my life. I spent a month in France (mostly Paris) in September 2021 and introduced my son, daughter-in-law and 10 year old grandson to Paris. I stay in touch with many friends from PAHS on Facebook and via email. Now living in Colorado Springs, CO.

Happy Birthday Nancy! I sent an email but not sure you still have that email address. I'm with Patt - we should plan a mini reunion.

Dave, if you are on Facebook, we have quite a few classmates who participate. PAHS is having an all-school reunion in France next September: 3 days in Paris (9/26-28) followed by 5 nights in Avingnon (9/29-10/4).

Just mailing my deposit for the 2020 reunion in France. I am only going to the Paris portion because Andy and I did the same places in Provence in 2003. I haven't been to Normandy yet, and would like to go there with stops in Vernon and Mont St. Michel. If anyone else is interested in doing that, let me know!
