SPRINGWATER - Sheila J. Landschoot, of the Carney Hollow Road, passed away Saturday (July 31, 2004) at home from a broken heart.
She was born in Rochester, a daughter of Alfred and Thelma Cuddeback Rohr. On June 28, 1975, she was married to Roger "Snuffy" Landschoot; Roger predeceased her on Aug. 27, 2003. She was also predeceased by her father, Alfred; and a brother, Donald Rohr.
Sheila was formerly employed in the cafeteria at Dansville Central School and SUNY Geneseo. She was currently a loving care provider for her grandson, Braydon, at her home in Springwater.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose #670 of Dansville. She enjoyed going to the casino, and having the pleasure of swimming with dolphins six times in Florida.
Sheila is survived by her daughters, Kristina (Rob) Reamer of Cohocton and Cindy (Rich) Bailey of Walworth; two sons, John Landschoot of Greece and Stephen (Cathy) Landschoot of New Jersey; her mother, Thelma Rohr of Florida; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
An informal memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Dansville Moose Lodge, followed by a reception.
Arrangements are by the Hindle Funeral Home, 271 Main St., Dansville.
