Niels Brannick Larsen Jr. passed away early the morning of Wednesday, April 20, while being cared for in the home of his younger brother in Glendale, AZ. He had battled depression for years and passed due to complications of congestive heart failure. He was interred in the Joseph City, AZ Cemetery on April 21. A memorial service was held in Joseph City on June 4.

Brannick was born Nov. 25, 1956.

He was preceded in death by his father, Niels B. Larsen.

Survivors include his mother, Martha Larsen of Joseph City; his three sisters, Margaret, Nella and Maria; his two brothers, Jan and Eldon; his four daughters, Erin with husband Nathan, Suzy with husband Matt, Zan and Sophia; his two stepsons, Daniel with wife Kristen, and Adam with wife Kristy; and 10 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Levi, Ivy, Bronwen, Gwendolen, Lincoln, Karly, Ky, Kale, Kameron and Andrew; as well as his first wife, Paula, and his second wife, Emily.

Brannick moved to Joseph City with his parents and siblings when he was 9 years old. He graduated from Joseph City High School and served a mission for the LDS church in the Calgary Alberta Mission. He attended Ricks College in Idaho and earned a degree in agriculture with an emphasis on hydroponics. He later attended BYU to further his education.

He worked at several different avocations throughout his life, the most recent as a power plant operator.

He is loved and will be missed.
