Share a memory that could only have happened because of where you were.
One Friday night, I met up with my best friend from high school (Bob) and we met two of his classmates, Sarah & Cathy. We all decided to go see a movie at a local/on the economy. Afterward, Sarah invited us to her home so we could have something to eat. When her father heard all the banging of utensils, he came to the kitchen in his bathrobe and said, "What the hell is going on here?" Sarah told her, "Daddy, we haven't had anything to eat!" Her father promptly fixed us a meal and engaged us all in conversation. Her Daddy was my father's boss, a Brigadier General. Years later, when I saw him on TV, I had a good laugh that the future Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, GEN John (Jack) Vessey fixed me a meal!
