Stacy McLaughlin (Belanger)

June 6, 1955 - November 7, 2022

Sadly we have lost another fellow Tiger.

I received this from Stacy's Daughter:

It happened rather quickly.  She felt very at peace and happy with her family surrounding her. Stacy passed from cancer at 7:12 AM.  Many of her large family felt a calming peacefulness when it happened without even knowing she had passed.

I too felt her presence that afternoon without knowing she passed  i was going to call her but for some reason didn't.  I have know her since first grade but we weren't very close until about ten years ago we got reacquainted through another classmates gathering and our friendship grew. She will be missed.

I am so saddened to hear this news and send my condolences to Stacy's family. Not only were we friends from the time I first moved to South Pas in 8th grade, but we maintained our tie as UCLA Bruins and were even roommates for a time.

Stacy had a beautiful smile and was always fun to be around.  She will be missed by so many.

Thanks to Debbie Baldwin Kelly I was reconnected with the fun, chatty, and witty Stacy. She had so much to say - such energy.  The last time I saw her in August 2022 was at an open air concert. We talked but with the music it was hard to hear all her words. We exchanged email addresses because she wanted to stay in touch. I felt hopeful for her on that day. Such a shame. Now the angels get to enjoy her energy and passion.   RIP dear Stacy.

Heartbreaking news. I hope Stacy's family finds peace and joy in reading these wonderful comments. She was beautiful inside and out, from the time she was a teen, all through our reunions and up until her passing. I know we missed her terribly at a women's reunion lunch last year. Stacy was not just bright, but truly intelligent while joyful and funny at the same time. She will never be forgotten.

From the days back at SPJHS and SPHS to times together at gatherings during the past twenty years and at reunioins, I have always found the time spent visiting with Stacy to be a joy. She is greatly missed.

Amazingly enough, Stacy and I went to the same school from Kindergarden through College!  Throughout those years, we had great fun together and she was one of my best friends in High School.  She always saw the positive in things, which I think helped her a lot in the last challenge.  I loved our phone chats.

My thoughts, prayers and hugs go out to her large family.  She's definitely one of the people that help make the world just a little bit nicer.
