My memory was of a kind, light-hearted boy who was easy to be around.
Here's to you, John.
May your journey continue with all gentleness and love surrounding you.

Man could this frisky young man flirt! I remember 8th grade English class and him sitting across from me and gently teasing me and asking me on dates 'Miss Marsha'. I was freaked out because he was light years ahead of me. But now that I'm an old lady, I remember it with warmth. His sunny disposition and unforgettable smile will always be remembered. I hope his sons inherited some of that. May God bless JohnJacalyn Booth
So sad to hear this! Went through elementary, junior high and high school with John. Always liked him. He was kind, handsome, and friendly. Over the years wondered where is ended up living. It would have been nice to reconnect. I hope he had a wonderful, happy life. Sending lots of love and blessings to his family.

Remember the U man who was a Superstar at Lincoln School. We were in second grade together.

Always remember John as a bright guy on a mission. Saddened to hear the news that John has left us in flesh, He was a Prince of a man and will be missed, Condolences to his family and close friends.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. It is very strange but a few days ago before his death was announced his name popped into my head and I was wondering what had happened to him as I don't recall seeing him at any SPHS reunions/picnics, etc. Like others I started in kindergarten with John - I recall his liveliness, that cheeky glint in his eye and of course his sport talent. RIP John.
