Did not renew our Chiefs tickets....we threatened to do it every year...because they are so disappointing each season!!!! We did it! Will go on occasion, and enjoy games from home!!!!

There are way too many to list....but I guess I remember the pep club, dragging Main and sporting events. Loved the parties out 'in the country' at Connie's! Yeah, Randy P.....you took me home, after a homecoming, like at 9:00 pm....and then reported to Connie's after party without me....thanks alot!!!!! What went wrong!!!!???? I think I called the Winfield Police Dept. on you!!!! I also remember sneaking into the swimming pool with a bunch......swimming, and then being 'arrested' by the WPD...taken to headquarters..and having our parents pick us up! uh oh! Loved those hamburgers at the Burger Station....I always asked for a lid even though there was a huge sign saying they didn't provide them! (oh well...that's me) Skateboarding all the way from College St. to the fairgrounds....scars to prove the crashes! Square dancing on roller skates!! Roller skating at Peacock roller rink...and drinking a cold coke from a bottle filled with peanuts! yUm! I could go on and on.....Playing truth or dare at Marcia's with Lynn, Marcia, Marty,,????....in the camper outside their house on Broad. I'd better quit now, or I never will shut up!!!! Loved every minute of it!!! I'm proud to say I grew up in Winfield....a fine community, and it seems everyone I meet, knows someone from Winfield!
