Married in 1968 my Husband (Billy Wayne Sketers) was from Parson, KS. we were married 33yrs. before Cancer took his life. Our hobby was Drag Racing we owned a Rail Dragster, named "The Power";2nd dragster named "Sketers Racing". Raced 30 yrs.had a great life and time together!

After Wayne's passing I've placed all my energy into my Children and Grandchilden's life they are my world!

Love professional football (CHIEFS), college basekeball,Soccer, and of course drag racing, love the outdoors.

I loved being in the Band and Orchestra all 4 years of High School and being the only girl trumpet player (1st. chair with 20 some boys...all big brothers):) :). Steve Lewellan and I played Taps every Friday for dissmissal of school...no bell would ring on Friday’s.

One day in Orchestra class Mr.Hagedahl stopped the entire group expressed his dislike of our music, he told us we all sounded like "Glorified regurgition" We went to State that year came in 1st Place anyway!

Marching band practice on afternoon Mr. Brummett stopped the entire marching band called out my name "DOTTS" do you know your right foot from your left foot. Of course, I replied yes we always start marching with the right foot,and I was asked which foot was my right...put forward my "left foot"...yes still have that problem today...HA
I have great memories of Band going to all the football and basketball games rutting for the "Vikings"
