Boyce: Scott Norwood was the place kicker for the Buffalo Bills who had a great record, but, when given an opportunity to defeat the New York Giants, the kick went wide left.

Steve,
Didn't know that but let me share this with you.
When we move into the home next to my birth home, I was 3 months shy of turning 16 in August 1971, the August before the championship season.
I remember soaking in that large old tub upstairs and dreaming about being Jim O'Brian. Remember him?

Well, he was a member of my favorite team, the Baltimore Colts. In Super Bowl V, Jan. 1971 the Colts and the Cowboys, the game was tied 13-13. It was finally settled with five seconds left when Colts rookie kicker Jim O'Brien kicked a 32-yard field goal. Jim was a straight-on kicker and as you can see, it was a 32 yarder from the left hash mark, just like the kick I made. I would go outside in front of that house and pretend that the clock was counting down and make that kick.
Do dreams come true? I guess they can or you can practice enough to prepare for the oppertunity if it ever comes your way.
Well, long story and maybe you wished you hadn't ask, but have a great day and see you on the short side.
