Jerry was a great guy and friend in high school. We didn't stay close after school but his life seemed full and good. Sorry he was taken so early. Condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of my old teammate/roomie's passing. Jerry was an outstanding player and teammate on the 1973 Basketball squad, a good friend and one of my suitemates our freshman year at UT Austin.

Always a great attititude, a smile for everybody and helpful to all. We lost touch with each other over the many years--I regret not looking him up in my travels. I'm sure he was an asset to his community, and I'm saddened by his loss.

Go hard to the bucket, old friend--the pass will be waiting for ya!
