Flightline Swing Shift and Job Control

Comments:

In August of 1977 PCSed to Tucson on O2A acft. In Jan 1980 we returned to Germany. We went to Ramstein Air Base on F4E acft. In 1983 I was able to PCA back to the airplane and people I loved....Enroute at Ramstein. However, I never set foot on the flightline. I was diverted to the LRC and spent the next 3.5 years as an LRC MX controller. PCS to Scott AFB in June of 1986 to 23rd Air Force LRC. In September of 1987, 23rd AF moved to Hurlburt Field and took me with them....kicking and screaming. I retired at the rank of CMSgt at HQ AFSOC Hurlburt Field Florida in June of 1998 after 29 years, 7 months, and 28 days of service. Loved every second of it!!

Completed a Masters Degree in Psychology and began teaching vocational education (small engine repair) soon after retirement. Moved to Guidance counselor in August of 2002
