Les died of cancer way to young. I got to see him and his sister Barb (class of 61 - Homecoming Queen Univeristy of Louisville I believe 1963) and family and had dinner with them about 6 months before his death. He and his family lived in Louisville, KY and I know he was involved in the City government for some time. Les also served in the Marine Corp and in 1962 Les and I had an assignment in San Diego. We had weekend leave and road a bus to Los Angles where we met up with George Bryson's Dad who was working for the LA Angels. Mr. Bryson took us to his home on Malibu Beach where we spent some great days there. Young George was off playing baseball somewhere but his sister Bonnie (Class of 61 I believe) was there and we had a blast.
