Elected Professor Emeritus after 40 years as a University Professor at the University of South Florida, 16 of which were as Chair of the Department of Criminology. Still teach part time in weekend graduate programs both for USF & for Saint Leo University.

Gosh, since 1959 I have visited 42 countries (including China, Russia, Belarus, Egypt & most recently Panama) married a very special lady 20 years ago, and am enjoying spoiling all 4 grandchildren.
School Story:

Like many others, Mr. Strunk & his grammar drills did me proud in college & grad school - I even minored in English in College (sad, huh?). I have used those skills to torture undergrad & grad students for many years (the beat goes on).

Finally retired after 55 years in the classroom - 3/2023

I posted the origional notice of Tuck's passing, so any mistakes are mine.  I mentioned that Tuck was a" life long friend" which is true, but does not nearly reflect the bond between us.  He and his lovely wife Chris have been a constant in my life since High School - always there, always ready to help.  Two of the greatest people I have ever known.
