Charles Joseph Weigel Jr, better known as "Tuck" passed away 11/12/2023 quietly at home surrounded by family. A life long friend, he was an active Woodward Alum who attended every function & encouraged the Birthday Party series of "reunions" attended by so many of us between the "official" reunions. It was those Birthday celebrations which helped keep the memories alive & the bonds strong. As Tuck said, "Once you get past the 40th annual, you can just be yourself & interact as people delighted to see one another." Most will remember him as the kid who brought the projector or other AV equipment and whose arrival in the classroom was always cause for celebration Miss you Tuck - RIP.

Sorry to learn of the death of our classmate "Tuck." I always found him a pleasant person across environments. My best wishes go forward to his family. Our surviving Woodward class of 1959 continues to shrink. Go Bulldogs!

I posted the origional notice of Tuck's passing, so any mistakes are mine. I mentioned that Tuck was a" life long friend" which is true, but does not nearly reflect the bond between us. He and his lovely wife Chris have been a constant in my life since High School - always there, always ready to help. Two of the greatest people I have ever known.
