Comments:
Shirley and I have been married for 29 years and have raised our 2 children in Alexander MB, where we have lived for 28 years. We have both been involved in our own businesses throughout most of these years and in 2000 we joined forces to establish Dundee Designs. We run a gift shop and design and produce a unique line of art. We have some of our designs manufactured in China and India which we distribute to gift shops across Canada. Our son Cody, joined forces with us in 1998 and has becoming a major player in our business.
Teal, our daughter graduated in 2010 and is currently attending the University of Superior Wisconsin and playing hockey for the Superior Yellow jackets.
Other than work and raising children I have been serving my community, recently completing two terms, eight years, on Municipal Council. In 2005 I began training as a fire fighter on our local fire department and have just completed my Level II training. in 2009 I assumed the position of Fire Chief for the RM and I am also the coordinator of the Oak Lake Mutual Aid District which incorporates seven other Fire Departments.
One of the most exiting things that has happened Shirley and myself in recent years is the birth of our grandson Cole, who has been a great joy in our lives.
