I was just looking her up and didn't know she had passed away a long time ago, I always wondered how she turned out. She loved poetry and writing, so I thought someday I would see something she had written. So sorry to hear about it, she will be missed. Carol Clifton Coffin

Linda was BEAUTIFUL and she was really cool.

SMART too.

She would wrap up the answers to our math tests and give them to me -I never asked her for that - she just did it.

If it wasn't for her - I don't think I would have made it out of Mr. Kortz class ! ha !

I remember Fergie and I were walking up to her house to visit her - - - and Linda & her sister Patty were on the roof sunning themselves in BiKiNiS !
Well....when they saw us walking up they started screaming & ran back into the house !
Oh well.

Back to math class - - -

Linda would sing "Good Bye Ruby Tuesday" by the Rolling Stones - a lot during class - - -
SERIOUSLY - after almost 40 years - when I hear that song - I ALWAYS think of Linda O'Neill !

You are missed - Linda !

.......-Rene Carrasco.
TOTALLY GLAD TO HAVE KNOWN HER !

Linda was a beautiful girl and had a great singing voice. My favorite memory of her is that for a short time I would jam in a band with her and Mike McCarty (I'll have to look him up next), and I can't recall who else, but we did Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit and Somebody to Love, and she belted them out in a way that would have made Grace Slick herself worry. Rest in Peace, Sweet Linda!

Hi there,

Just came across website. Linda O'neill was my sister. She passed away August of 1985. Linda's passing was devastating to my family. We will miss her always and seeing her beautiful photo displayed brought back those raw emotions.

Thank You for thinking of her. She will forever be missed.

To Rene,

Thank you for those wonderful words about my sister Linda. She was an awesome spirit.

I do remember that day on the roof. Linda and I often sunned ourselves on the roof. She always had me beat in the tanning department. Our Mother (who is still with us) is Italian, our Father (passed) was Irish. I took after him with the fair skin.

Thank You so much for your comments.

She is in our hearts forever.

Carol,

Thank you for your memories of my sister. Yes, you are right she loved poetry and writing. We were alittle over a year apart, so I shared alot with her. I was pregnant with my fourth child when she passed. I miss her everyday. My sweet sister.

Yeah Scott, You got it right. She had a wonderful voice. When we were little our Mother gave us a tape recorder so we could sing and play it back. She tried and tried to help me harmonize but I could not sing like she could. Jefferson Airplane's white Rabbit was her favorite.

She was a beautiful girl, and loved her family and friends very much.  I called my Mom and read her what was posted. She was very happy.

Thank You for your kind words for my sister.

What a free spirit she was.

I want to echo what Rene said about Linda ... she was one of those special people you meet that you never forget.   Her voice was amazing.... I would get together with her and Mike Mc carty and jam ...I would sing Doors songs  but when Linda sang White Rabbit it shook me to the core... she was awesome .  She had a gentle sweetness that was unique.
