Nicolet Class of '73 - 50th Reunion

1973 was a very eventful year:

• The Vietnam War ended
• Motorola engineer Martin Cooper made the first-ever mobile phone call
• Secretariat won the Triple Crown
• The Watergate hearings began
• Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon” was released
• The Sears Tower was completed becoming the world’s tallest building
• “The Godfather” won Best Picture 
• Billboard Magazine’s top three songs for the year were “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree”, “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” and “Killing Me Softly with His Song”
• LAST BUT NOT LEAST: 554 seniors graduated from Nicolet High School

Fast-forward 50 years and the Class of ’73 is cordially invited to a golden anniversary reunion. Reminisce about the past and share what's meaningful today. We will celebrate this lifetime milestone at the following venues:

Lodging Information:

The Holiday Inn Express 4443 W Schroeder Rd, Brown Deer, WI (414) 335-1300. We’ve booked a complimentary block of 15 rooms; 8 Kings with a sleeper sofa $120. per night, and 7 double queens $130 per night, all include free breakfast. The block will be expire on 8/5/23, so that should be noted as well. There is not a shuttle available here either, they recommend Uber.

Fairfield Inn 7035 N. Port Washington Rd. Glendale, WI (414) 446-5900, which also serves complimentary breakfast, so that can be mentioned to our classmates. They have to call and request “The Nicolet HS 1973 Reunion Block”, they don’t offer links for complimentary room blocks.

Four Points by Sheraton North Shore 8900 N. Kildeer Ct. Milwaukee, WI (414) 355-8585 The Sheraton does not offer a shuttle to/from the airport. However they do have the option of a breakfast voucher at $12.95 per person, which can be requested at the front desk or at the restaurant.

That gives us a total of 45 blocked rooms at 3 hotels, with various prices.
