Susan (Sue) Jean Walstad, 65, passed from this life on April 12th, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born on March 26th, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She graduated from Westchester High School in 1968 and from the University of Texas in 1973. In 1980, she received her law degree from the University of Houston. She engaged in many activities during her years at The University of Texas.
She was active in Pi Beta Phi Sorority and student government where she was bestowed a Goodfellow Award and recognized by Mortarboard.
She practiced law for many years in Houston until she became ill. Sue will be remembered for her intelligence, love of reading and music, artistic ability, and her involvement in several churches in the Clear Lake area.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Green of Galveston, brother, David Walstad and his wife Robin of Houston, and sister, Amy Hepler of Galveston, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church located at 2098 W. Main Street, League City, Texas on Friday, April 24th at 10:00 a.m.
