Superb biology teacher in addition to being a great coach for our outstanding basketball teams. He was one of my favorite teachers.

A great coach

I had the pleasure and privilege of playing basketball and baseball under Coach Lambert at Milby. He was a great coach and mentor. He produced some fine athletes and competitive teams during his tenure at Milby. I believe he was instrumental in getting me a basketball scholarship at Rice and this experience was life-altering for me. I am deeply grateful and blessed to have known Coach Lambert. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family.

Coach Lambert was a prince of a man. He was the head basketball coach when I was attending Milby. He was a friend to every student, yet held the respect of his players, the faculty, and all the rest of us. I am better for having known him. Condolences to his family.

.Hal Lambert and I worked together for several years and he was always the person you could depend on to get the job done.Yes there are tons of Hal stories but the one thing that impresses me the most is the number of former students who always ask me about Mr.Lambert.Hal lived a long life and he touched many lives as a teacher coach and administrator and Iam glad I was his friend .
Since I am out of town I will miss the services but my thoughts and prayers are with Jean and the family.

We all have our Coach Lambert stories. The bottem line is that he was an outstanding coach. It did not matter if he was coaching basketball or football or baseball - he produced winners. May the Lord comfort his family and friends. In Christ, Boyce Honea(59)
