Gary Michael Seaback

 4/26/1954 - 1/3/2010

For those of you that knew my brother Gary Seaback I am sad to report he died at around 1:15 yesterday (1/3/10) afternoon in College Station Texas.
He was in perfect shape and was committed to health and nutrition and yet he was found dead on the side of the road that he jogged on regularly.
He died of an apparent heart attack.

He was a great friend as well as a role model and I miss him already.

Gary M. Seaback, 55, of College Station, passed away while enjoying life on January 2, 2010 in College Station.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, January 7, with a 7 p.m. Service of Remembrance at St. Mary's Catholic Church in College Station.

A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, at Forest Park Westheimer in Houston.

Services are in the care of Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.

Apr. 26, 1954 ~ Jan. 2, 2010 GARY M. SEABACK, 55, of College Station, passed away on January 2, 2010. Services for Gary are scheduled with a visitation on Thursday, Jan. 7, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in College Station with a Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass is Friday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in College Station. A rosary prior to Mass will begin at 10:30 for those who wish to attend. Interment will be Saturday, Jan 9, 2010 at 11a.m. at Forest Park Westheimer in Houston.Gary was born to Harry Emil and Alma Patricia Strain Seaback in Houston. He moved to College Station in 1978, where he made his home. Gary owned and operated many night clubs in Bryan and College Station. They included Club 2818, Dallas, Uncle Charlie's, The Edge, Cody's, Baja Yacht Club, The Tap, JD Wells Saloon, Salty Dogs, Baracuda Bar, Bourbon St. Bar and Grill, Woody's, Riley's, Studio Lounge, Rockwells, and Hurricane Harry's.  Gary's spirit and enthusiasm for life and wanting to help others were his passion. Gary brightened a room with his presence and had the ability to make you smile when you felt down. Gary loved ranching and working on the land he owned. He could undertake multiple projects at a given time and give precise detail to them all. Although athletic in his own style he enjoyed surfing in California, Costa Rica, and New Port Beach. He was very energetic and was an excellent cook.  Gary was a kind, loving and generous man who was deeply loved and cherished by his family and friends and will be missed tremendously.  Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Emil and Alma Patricia Seaback and his grandparents.Gary's survivors include his son Marcus; his daughter Kylie; his sister Theresa Holland of San Antonio, Ann Marie and Charles Duke of Katy, Patricia and Jeff Hanshaw of Houston and his brothers Harry, Joey, Johnny, and Damian Seaback of Houston; nieces and nephews to include: Noah Seaback, Luke, Rebecca and Rachel Holland, Charlie, Aaron, Josh, Jessica, Melissa and Nina Duke, Shannon and Tony Seaback, Michael Seaback, Michelle Seaback, Kristen, Kara, Nikki and Erin Hanshaw: many loving cousin and his close friends he often referred to as family.  In lieu of flowers your kind offering of sympathy is asked to make donations to either the American Heart Association , Bryan/College Station, 6801 Sanger, Suite 102, Waco, TX 76710 or the Brazos Animal Shelter, 2207 Finfeather Rd, Bryan, TX 77801.  Expression of sympathy can be made at MeM.com
