Betsy was a smart girl and always very nice to everyone.  I remember her well in my classes throughout high school, and was very sad to hear of her passing.  I had no idea of her musical talent until a few years ago when I read an article that mentioned Betsy.  Yes, it was our Westchester Betsy from the class of 1971.  What an extraordinary gift of music she was blessed with, and I send my prayers to her family.

Betsy's family lived across the street from us.  She had 3 brothers, George, David, and John.  Betsy was an incredible pianist and made headlines later in life!  What most people don't know is what an awesome football player she was.  Her 3 older brothers taught her how to throw and kick at such a high degree of competency that we always wanted her to be on our team when playing in the street.  She was a wonderful person and I am saddened at her loss.

Betsy and I sat right next to each other in homeroom (Beeson-Bell).  Betsy was a sweety and I, too,

remember this Big Smile and she put up with my goofy antics nearby.  Blessings to Betsy and her Family in

this time of loss.  I had no idea that she was such a world class pianist, what a gift to the World!
