I was notified that John G. Murray  Class of 1971 passed away on 8/2/2013. I did not know John at Westchester but we were in the same outfit at Texas A&M.

Thank you all for your kind words about John.
I hope he has found the peace in his new life that seemed to elude him in this earthly life.
I sincerely appreciate your condolences and hope his Aggie friends will remember him at muster. That is a beautiful tradition. I will attend and answer "Here" for him here in Charlotte and my daughter, who works for TAMU in Qatar, will attend and answer for him there, as well.

John and I both went to Westchester High and were in Company D-2 @ A&M. He helped me get a summer job after my fish year with him at the highway dept. he was a good person and a great Aggie. He will be missed.
