I knew Meg at Memorial Junior High, and a few months of my Freshman year at Westchester High School before my family moved to Denver, Colorado. I will remember her as being a sweet girl with a heart of gold.

Lorna Megan “Meg” DeLancey, 49, of Houston died May 9, at her residence. Funeral services were held May 13, at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston with Dr. Duane Brooks and Dr. Robert Sloan Jr. officiating.
Burial followed at Little River Cemetery in Cameron.
DeLancey was born Jan. 26, 1953 in Glendale, CA to Charles and Eleanor DeLancey. She was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church since 1965. DeLancey was a graduate of Westchester High School and received her bachelors of art degree from Houston Baptist University and masters of psychology from the University of Houston/Clear Lake.
DeLancey was an only child and is survived by her parents, Charles and Eleanor DeLancey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in DeLancey’s name to Houston Baptist University Scholarship Fund

LORNA MEGAN "Meg" DeLANCEY age 49, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2002, at her residence in Houston, Texas. Meg was born January 26, 1953, in Glendale, California, to Charles and Eleanor DeLancey.
She was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church since 1965. Meg was a graduate of Westchester High School and received her Bachelors of Art degree from Houston Baptist University and Masters of Psychology from the University of Houston/Clear Lake.
Miss DeLancey was an only child and is survived by her loving parents. Family will receive friends at Tallowood Baptist Church, 555 Tallowood, for visitation Monday, May 13, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Duane Brooks and Dr. Robert Sloan, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at 6:00 p.m. in Little River Baptist Church in Cameron, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Meg's name to Houston Baptist University Scholarship Fund.
