Victoria Derrick, 61, of Bryan, passed away on Saint Valentine’s Day, Saturday, February 14, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan with Mike Garrett officiating. Private family graveside services will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
Victoria was born in Austin, Texas, to Donald and Suzanne (Criss) Weikman. She graduated from Westchester High School in Houston, Texas, in 1972 and attended the University of St. Thomas also in Houston. Victoria was an artist and loved sketching, painting, crafts, sewings, cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Weikman; a daughter, Amanda Derrick; and grandparents, Dorothy and Richard Criss.
Survivors include her loving Dachshund, Lizzie; son, Larry "Bear" Derrick and wife, Michelle; daughter, Carolyn Hall and husband, Derrick; grandchildren: Savannah Hall, Jackson Hall, Trey Derrick, Lauren Derrick, and Christopher Rodriguez; mother, Suzanne Criss Weikman; sister, Carol Farnsworth and husband, Jim; brother, David Weikman; aunts, Carol Holloway and husband, Gordon, and Patricia Criss; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
